1. Overview
MOaKOREaN is a Korean-learning application for adult beginners. We aim to collect and retain only the information needed to operate the service, synchronize learning progress and respond to support requests.

2. Information we use
Depending on how you use MOaKOREaN, the service may process the following categories of information:
- Account and authentication information required for sign-in.
- Learning progress, lesson completion status and review-related records.
- Information you include when contacting customer support.
- Basic technical information necessary to maintain security, stability and app operation.
Stage 1–2 progress may be stored locally on the device before account registration. When the product’s account-transfer flow is used, eligible local progress may be associated with the newly created account.
3. Microphone and voice practice
MOaKOREaN may request microphone permission so that learners can record and immediately replay their pronunciation during a practice activity.

Microphone audio is not uploaded to or stored on the MOaKOREaN server. Temporary audio is used only for the immediate practice interaction and is discarded when the learner leaves the relevant screen.

4. Account and learning synchronization
Login information and learning progress are synchronized using Supabase. Synchronized information may include:
- Account identifiers needed for authentication.
- Stage, pack and lesson progress.
- Completion status and last learning position.
- Review-related learning records associated with the account.
This synchronization allows signed-in learners to continue their learning experience across sessions and, where supported, across devices.
5. How information is used
Information is used only for legitimate service purposes, including:
- Providing and maintaining the learning experience.
- Saving and synchronizing learning progress.
- Supporting account access and account-related functions.
- Responding to support and deletion requests.
- Maintaining service security, reliability and usability.
6. Data retention
Account and learning data are retained while the account remains active or while they are reasonably needed to provide the service. Temporary microphone audio is not retained as account data.
Some limited records may need to be retained where required by applicable law, fraud prevention, dispute resolution or security obligations. Any such retention should be limited to the purpose that requires it.
7. Account and learning-data deletion
You may request deletion of your MOaKOREaN account and related learning data. After the request is verified and processed, the account and learning records associated with that account will be deleted, subject to any legal retention obligations.

8. Service providers
MOaKOREaN may use trusted service providers necessary to operate the application. The current account-authentication and learning-data synchronization design uses Supabase.
Supabase processes account and learning-progress data on MOaKOREaN's behalf only to provide authentication and synchronization features. Questions about this processing may be sent through the contact information below.
